2 Regensburg Firms Awarded with Academic Founder Prize
Two company founders from Bio Regio Regensburg scored points in the BusinessPlan Competition of Northern Bavaria (BPWN), LipoFIT GmbH and Si4Health GmbH, both from Regensburg, achieved 2nd and 3rd place in this year’s award ceremony for the University-Founder Prize 2004.

30.03.2004 - (dpa-AFX) – The world's largest biotech conglomerate Amgen bought the biotech specialist Tularik for 1,3 billion through stock trading. Amgen announced that the Tularik stock was valued at 25 dollars/share in this transaction. An expenditure of an undisclosed amount will occur upon closing the deal in the third or fourth quarter of 2004. Wülfing Holding GmbH, located in Gronau, has entered a joint venture with the Berlin based Haupt Pharma AG. The solid result is AMAREG GmbH in Regensburg. The new corporation has taken over the reigns as well as the team at Haupt Pharma Regensburg GmbH. The management and sales aspects will be run by majority shareholder Wülfing.
