Si4Health wins the Science4Life Venture Cup 2004
The Regensburg company Si4Health has won the most coveted prize for young, innovative biotechnological companies. Si4Health survived several rounds of judging, against a number of well-known competitors, with their tissue engineering business idea and has received 30,000 Euro along with the esteemed first prize.

Wilden puts up a building for their new Technical Competence Center (TCC) in Wackersdorf, Germany. Once the TCC has been completed, all of the company's technical know-how will be concentrated in this creative think tank. In contrast to the previous technical center, which provided 2,100 sqm of useful area, the new TCC will offer 4,900 sqm for up to 180 employees.

„Top-notch technology that deserves respect“, Bavaria’s Economic Minister, Dr. Otto Wiesheu, used these words when he awarded the BioPark company Antisense Pharma with the 100,000 € Bavarian Innovation Prize 2004 on the 18th of May. The company received the award for its new method for the treatment of aggressive forms of cancer.
