Promotion of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for Regensburg

The University of Regensburg has reached a further milestone in the successful acquisition of funding. The research group led by Prof. Ralf Wagner is receiving 2.3 million US$ in promotion from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for the development of an innovative HIV vaccine.

BioRegio Regensburg in China and Canada

BioPark Regensburg GmbH took part in a delegation trip together with RBD Regensburg Business Development GmbH and IHK Regensburg to Qingdao, China. Following this, in cooperation with three company representatives from BioRegio Regensburg, the BioPark participated in a biotechnology business delegation in Montreal organised by Bayern Innovativ und Bayern International.

BioPark Regensburg at BioBrasil 2006

BioPark Regensburg GmbH, together with Bayern International GmbH, represented the biotechnology area of Bavaria at the congress in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. With a lecture, fair stand and one-to-one discussions, the existing cooperation between the bioregions in Bavaria and Brazil was expanded upon.

Profos and bioMérieux sign agreement

Profos AG, located in BioPark Regensburg, and the French company bioMérieux have signed an agreement for the common development, manufacturing and marketing of diagnostic techniques for the recognition of pathogens in food products. The young Regensburg Biotech Company is working hand-in-hand with a global market leader in medical and industrial in-vitro diagnostics.
