BGM Project at the BioPark is being extended
(No. 222) In early 2018 the BioPark and the medical insurance company “Techniker Krankenkasse (TK)” started a Company Health Management system for all the companies and institutes at the center. Due to the positive response the contract has now been extended until the end of 2020.

Lophius seals a new round of finance
(No. 221) The company located in BioPark Regensburg announced the sealing of a new round of finance of 3.1 million € as contribution from Wachstumsfonds Bayern (Bavarian Growth Fund). With the funding a new standard in tuberculosis diagnosis is to be set.
€ 30,000 Donation for Research Projects at the Tumor Center
(No. 220b) The Regensburg Tumor Center located at the BioPark is the institute for quality control and healthcare research at the university which tests new treatment options to improve the chance of survival of patients.

Startup is researching alcohol antagonist for clinical use
(No. 220a) Evanium Healthcare GmbH founded at the BioPark is developing an active substance for the targeted reduction of alcohol-related damage. Through the use of laboratories at the Regensburg Center of Health Sciences and Technology (RCHST) at the OTH Regensburg located at the BioPark, the product has now been able to be substantially further developed.

Successful Celebration – 20 Years BioPark
(No. 219) With a festive event and 150 guests of honor and an open day BioPark Regensburg GmbH celebrated the company’s anniversary. The guests were able to see on-site for themselves the 20-year success story. From 1999 to 2019 the ground space occupied has increased threefold, the number of companies fourfold and the number of jobs by even tenfold.
