WILDEN receives Most Innovative Supplier Award
Wilden AG received an award for its innovative use of cube technology in the production of consumer articles for a fully automated microbiological test system. In this project the company proved once again the innovative strength of its co-workers and its high precision in synthetic technology. In 2003 bioMérieux contracted Wilden AG to manufacture instruments for the test systems and their serial production. Microbiology coupled with high precision synthetic technology makes the fully automated microbiological identification of numerous bacteria and the detection of potentially resistant bacteria and the treatment of these bacteria with specific antibiotics possible. With the aid of the so-called card system, the materials examined are introduced quickly and simply into the analysis device. This makes an effective medical diagnosis and a contribution to decreasing costs in the health system possible.
