Only a few places left at Startup Weekend Regensburg

 

Following the huge success in 2015 at the BioPark Regensburg, this year’s Startup Weekend 2016 is taking place at TechBase Regensburg. With the format "Startup Weekend" the opportunity will be offered to all interested parties, in a brief period of time - in only a weekend - to develop a viable business concept for a startup idea.

 

The Startup Weekend is a Weekend Workshop in which innovative products and service ideas, speciailist exchange and the enterpreneurs of tomorrow are the focus. The participants from various specialties work in teams which are formed at the workshop and work together on business ideas.

 

In center stage is the development of a business model in which a product with minimal requirements and properties ("minimum viable product") can inclusively encompass client validation or a service. Experienced mentors from networks of both the Startup and Technology Centers of the City of Regensburg provide support to the participants in the translation of this assignment.

 

At the end the teams present their results to a distinguished specialist jury led by both managing directors of the Startup and Technology Centers: Dr. Thomas Diefenthal (BioPark) and Alexander Rupprecht (TechBase). Numerous prizes beckon the winners, such as free use of offices (6 months) at TechBase or the BioPark, consultancy vouchers to an attorney or a tax accounting firm, as well as book vouchers. To participate registration (see below) and contribution to expenses are required, which includes refreshments and small meals throughout the entire event.
