Start of the Anniversary Year 15 Years Bio Park Regensburg

BioPark Regensburg GmbH is a subsidiary of RBD Regensburg Business Development GmbH, a business promotion society of the City of Regensburg. It was founded in 1999 with the goal of promoting biotechnology at this location as a new key technology for the 21st century. Dieter Daminger, consultant for business, science and finance for the City of Regensburg, looks back as initiator and CFO on a successful and dynamic development. “With the commissioning of BioPark I 2001, BioPark II 2006 and BioPark III 2011 we have successfully promoted and established biotechnology in the location of Regensburg”.
His college and CEO Dr. Thomas Diefenthal looks back upon an exciting development. “We have been able to successfully expand the original focus of biotechnology with other linked fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology, diagnostics and analytics”. With diverse location analyses and events the BioPark will in the course of the year take stock and position itself for the future.
