New Toys for 2018

Since September 2011 the in-house St John’s crèche facility “bamBIOni”, funded by the BioPark, has been in operation with two toddlers’ groups, each respectfully for 12 children 0-3 years of age. Since this time the BioPark and its leaseholders have gained attractiveness as employers. The short distance from the childcare institution to the work place saves a lot of time and organization for the parents. Additionally with opening times throughout the whole year, only a maximum of 20 days closed, and opening hours from 7am to 7pm guarantee a huge degree of flexibility. This makes the importance of being able to incorporate family-life and occupation for the employees of the BioPark leaseholders far easier and enhances the attractiveness of the BioPark location.

On time for Christmas the long-awaited presents came from the “Christ Child”. With a donation from BioPark Regensburg GmbH, achieved by saving on Christmas cards, new clothes for dolls, games and finally the fire engine they had wished for were able to be bought. A good start for all the children in the New Year. And things are running otherwise rather well at “bamBIOni”. The teaching concept at the child daycare under the sponsorship of the experienced St John’s Organization: language, motor skills, teaching creativity, encounters with nature and objects or mathematical tasks are only a few of the subjects which are regularly reassessed and set.

Dr Thomas Diefenthal (Managing Director) and Gabriele Mirbeth (Official Representative Facility Management) present numerous gifts to the bamBIOni children in the name of the BioPark.
