New Rounds for the BioPark Innovation Prize

How do we put innovative ideas into action? To this purpose the City of Regensburg together with both its Start-Up Center and Technology Center at the BioPark and TechBase, as well as support from regional clusters in the fields of life science, healthcare, IT, sensory technology, electromobility and art and creative industries has supported a multitude of measures. The largest pool of innovative ideas however is at the Regensburg tertiary institutions with their 33,000 students and 9,000 employees. Here in Regensburg the specialities are in the fields of immunology, oncology, high-performance computing,
medical technology, neurology, medical computer science and healthcare sciences.

Together with the Patent Attorneys Dehml & Bettenhausen located in the BioPark, this year the BioPark is giving out two prizes each respectively for 1,500 € to promote the two best application-related ideas and impulse drivers in these fields. Submissions can be publications, Bachelor, Master, PhD or postdoctoral theses with a high degree of application and use in industry. The University of Regensburg and the OTH Regensburg are supporting the innovation prize. Applications can be submitted up to the 15.10.2017 at biotechpreis@biopark-regensburg.de.
