Healthcare Regensburg is being launched

In December 2015 the BioPark presented the results of the location analysis on the healthcare sector in the Region of Regensburg, which demonstrated the first opportunities and potential for the City and the Region in this growth sector. Since mid 2016 the BioPark has conducted several workshops on the healthcare sector around the themes and recommendations for action to carve out the compliation of a "Healthcare Sector Masterplan" for Regensburg and the Region. "An important tenor derived from the numerous interviews and workshops was the wish for joint visibility of the healthcare location", explained BioPark Managing Director Dr. Thomas Diefenthal. "We have developed the trademark for this purpose under which in future we wish to present all players and information in this field in this location". At the Medical Technology Trade Fair MT Connect the location will already be represented under the new trademark. "A highlight by Healthcare Regensburg will be the presentation of the Healthcare Sector Masterplan on Wednesday, 29 November of this year at the Parkside in Regensburg", stated Project Manager Dr. Ilja Hagen.
