BIOPARK8 Brain Network starts in BioRegion Regensburg
In the last 15 years Regensburg has developed into a "hot-spot" in the life sciences in Bavaria. "With the BioPark Regensburg on the uni-campus and the BioRegion Regensburg in East Bavaria, in this time period comprehensive know-how has been formed in the areas of start-ups, funding acquisition, financing, development and strategy of companies, markets and internationalisation, licencing, patent and contract management, as well as company takeover and integration processes and also restarting from insolvency estate" summarized the chairman of the board and Lord Mayor of the City of Regensburg Joachim Wolbergs the experiences of BioPark GmbH.
"With the "BIOPARK8 Brain Network" we would like to pool this knowledge at the Regensburg location, make it visible and available", commented the managing director of BioPark GmbH Dr. Thomas Diefenthal on his idea for network foundation. 8 personalities with comprehensive enterpreneurial expertise are available as coach and consultant, and also as discussion participants and consultants on the podium around the themes of biotechnology, pharmaceutcials, diagnostics, analytics, medical technology and green energy (Biogas) in Regensburg.

The network will be coordinated by Dr. Thomas Diefenthal. Prior to his time as managing director, he was founder and managing founder of Maltagen Research GmbH from 1993 to 1999 in Andernach.
