€ 30,000 Donation for Research Projects at the Tumor Center

Annemarie and Manfred Gehmeyr have donated a sum of 30,000 Euros to the Regensburg Tumor Center. This has allowed the financing of important research projects. Dr. Teresa Draeger and Dr. Vinzenz Völkel have received funding, and have already received several research prizes, currently the Regensburg Oncology Prize 2019 in the Young Scientists category. Central to the research were the advantage of minimal invasive surgery in bowel cancer and the advantages of preventative surgery in patients 80 years and older.
