Second Innovation Day - Caregiving in Regensburg
(No. 216) Representatives from caregiving in practice, nursing science, manufacturers and policy makers met up for the 2nd innovation day – caregiving at BioPark Regensburg. Service robotics, documentation and communication were the central topics. Robots, apps and process innovations were presented giving a view of opportunities in caregiving in the future. The event was held together by Forum MedTech Pharma and BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the City of Regensburg, with support of the Bavarian Ministry for Economy, State Development and Energy.

Current figures on the Healthcare Industry in Regensburg
(No. 215) A recent survey of the BioPark demonstrates since the last count in 2011 the number of employees with social security in the healthcare industry has risen by 26 % in the region and documents the growing importance of this industry for the cathedral city and the region.

Financial report 20 years of BioPark Regensburg
(No. 214) On the occasion of the 20 year anniversary the current report demonstrates very successful development of the life science companies in the Regensburg Bioregion. The financial figures presented by BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the City of Regensburg, for 2018 account for 55 companies and 3,980 employees in the cluster in Bavaria. That is more than double as many companies and almost ten times as many workplaces as at the startup year in 1999.
