Microalgie purify Biogas

Confirmed by a successful laboratory experiment, Schmack Biogas AG wants to make biogas purification more effective using microalgae. In three photobioreactors they test under which conditions the algae grow best and which bind the most CO2 emitted from the biogas. The German Agency of Renewable Resources is supporting these plans financially. This successful and innovative company is going onto the stock market.

New Premises for AMGEN in BioPark

AMGEN Research GmbH located at BioPark Regensburg has moved into its new premises in Building BioPark II. So the American Biotech Company can further expand its development of new substances to fight disease on site with over 1000 sqm available for this.

Geneart expands and goes on the stock exchange

One of the most successful biotech companies at BioPark Regensburg is growing into a company of 60 employees and has alone a turnover of 4.5 Million €. After reaching the profit threshold and to handle its rapid growth more easily the company founded in 1999 is being transformed into an AG and is striving to enter the stock market on 23 May 2006 in Frankfurt.

Opening Ceremony of BioPark II & 10 Years of BioRegio

On 23rd and 24th of June 2006 there will be two events to celebrate at BioPark Regensburg. The first is the opening of the second construction phase contributing a further 6,000 sqm of space and the other is the celebration of the 10 year anniversary of BioRegio Regensburg.

Wilden AG located at BioPark Regensburg

As one of the first leaseholders of construction phase II, Wilden AG has been a part of the BioPark since the beginning of the year. So now the leader of technology in medical synthetic material systems is door to door with companies from the Life Sciences. Adjacent to the office spaces, a show room has been created to display portfolios demonstrating achievements in the areas of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical technology and consumer healthcare.
