27 Million € Lead Investment for Antisense Pharma
The company Antisense Pharma GmbH located in BioPark Regensburg has a capital grant from the VC Fund of MIG AG of 27 million €. The company will inject this capital for the development of its Antisense active substance for malignant types of cancer. The preparations for the last clinical test phase of AP 12009 are already fully underway.

The initiation of the pilot running of a biodiesel factory in Regensburg is a further milestone in the development of BioRegio Regensburg into a centre for renewable energy. Recently Schmack Biogas AG, a pioneer in this field in East Bavaria since 1995, announced its partnership with energy giants E.ON to build the largest biogas plant in Europe.

Successful development of the Regensburg Company BioGents
BioGents GmbH located in Regensburg has made a successful start for the 2007 business year with its business idea in the specialist field of attractant and repellent products for mosquitoes and specific types of trap systems for insects. Following contracts with authorities in Germany and abroad, increasing turnover and a new patent application, Biogents received initial financing within the “Friends & Family Round” framework in April. The sealing of further financing is advised for the next 8 weeks.
