By active association work BioPark has been taking part in the formation of important political frameworks on the themes of foundation, innovation and promotion of technology. As vice-president and board member of the German Association for Innovation, Technology and Business Incubation Centres e.V. in Berlin in which 153 centres are represented. Furthermore as spokesperson of the Council of BioParks in which 24 BioParks are united. As representative spokesperson of the Council of German BioRegions in the industry association BIO Deutschland e.V. in Berlin in which the 30 BioRegions are represented.

The BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH has been contracted in conjunction with the Management of the Cluster Biotechnology. All Bavarian biotech regions are networked in a large Bavarian BioTech Cluster.

Bavarian Start-up Soft Landing Package
The “Ois Easy* Startup Landing Package” (*Bavarian for a carefree landing) is dedicated to start-ups that want to open an entity / office in Germany and establish themselves long term in the German market. HEALTH MADE IN GERMANY
HEALTH MADE IN GERMANY is the export initiative for the German healthcare industry. It supports international companies and organizations that are interested in establishing contact with potential German partners and suppliers. Set up by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the initiative bundles expert market intelligence for easy industry access.
European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ESCA)
Cluster management organizations that are benchmarked demonstrate their interest in striving for excellence. For being benchmarking under the ESCA benchmarking approach by one of the ESCA experts cluster management organizations are awarded with the Bronze Label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative. Each cluster was analyzed based on an interview of the cluster manager conducted by an impartial ESCA benchmarking expert. The interview covers 36 indicators with regard to the structure of the cluster, the cluster management and the governance of the cluster, financing of the cluster management, services provided by the cluster management, contacts and interaction within the cluster and achievements and recognition of the cluster. Results are presented by an individual report to the cluster management and include also recommendations for further improvement in line with the requirements of the cluster quality label that is currently developed by the European Cluster Excellence Initiative.
The BioPark Regensburg GmbH is certified to Silver Label by ESCA since 2011.
European region Danube-Vitava (ERDV)
The European region Danube-Vltava (ERDV) was established 2012 from the border regions Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, with the aim to effectively strengthening the rural area between the metropolitan regions Munich, Nuremberg, Prague and Vienna. For this purpose seven partner regions concentrate on different future-oriented fields. For each prospective area, two regions are responsible for the organisational support of knowledge platforms, thereby one of the plays a leading role.
