(Nr. 196) Current development in the life science companies in the Regensburg Bioregion demonstrates a stable number of companies and employees in East Bavaria. The new financial figures presented by BioPark Regensburg amount to 51 companies and 3,851 employees for the cluster in East Bavaria.
(No. 195) The BioPark in Regensburg started its project “Digital Health Initiative” with two events. The Initiative is intended to link, support and further develop activities on digitalization in medical healthcare provision in the location and in the region.
(No. 194) With this motto the BioPark in Regensburg is commencing together with the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) its Company Health Management at the location. In one of the first workshops together the stakeholders at the companies and institutes at the BioPark as well as the employees at Head Office and at the TK are developing an action plan for implementation.
(No. 193) The child daycare facility “bamBIOni” at BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the City of Regensburg, was visited on time at Christmas by the “Christ Child” from the Head Office. With new toys the child daycare started a further succesful year.
(Nr.192) BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the city of Regensburg, and the Patent Attorney Company Dehmel & Bettenhausen located in the BioPark have this year awarded the two innovation prizes to excellent work at the university of Regensburg in the framework of Dies academicus.
(Nr. 191) Over one hundred guests from politics, healthcare, business and science came to the presentation of the “Masterplan-Healthcare” for Regensburg and the region. By linking the regional strengths in the fields of medical care and information technology, potentials in the field of Health-IT can be realized.
(No. 190) BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the city of Regensburg, has published its first startup guide. It offers orientation and an overview of the various offers in the startup scene in Regensburg. In total 18 partner organizations have participated and offered proactive support for startups in the cathedral city.
(No. 189) Success needs more space! In Lorenzreuth in Marktredwitz both companies are constructing a new two-storey office and storage building for 30 employees to also be able to grow further in the future.
(No. 189) The East Bavarian Technical University Regensburg (OTH Regensburg) is coordinating the exciting research project ORBIT. The eight partners amongst others from Upper Palatinate are working on the further development of bioreactors to be able to make the storage of energy sustainable.
(No. 188) At their new premises at BioPark Regensburg the health fund Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) offers startups a point of contact for various questions on the primary health care market. Furthermore TK promotes innovative products and ideas for the healthcare sector of the future with the Health-i-Initiative.
