BioPark Annual Report 2023
(No. 275) One year after the official end of the Corona pandemic, the current development of life science companies in the Regensburg BioRegion also shows an end to the strong growth of recent years. The number of companies is stagnating however with increase in the number of employees. The new business figures for 2023 presented by BioPark Regensburg GmbH include 66 companies and 5,671 employees for the cluster in Eastern Bavaria.

(No. 247) BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the city of Regensburg, and the patent law firm Dehmel & Bettenhausen based there have again awarded an innovation prize of €1,500 in 2023 to outstanding research work as part of this year‘s Dies academicus at the University of Regensburg.

BioPark Jump Accelerator started in Regensburg
(No. 273) BioPark Regensburg GmbH, an enterprise of the city of Regensburg, has launched the new funding project "BioPark Jump" to specifically support innovative ideas in the areas of healthcare and life sciences at the Regensburg location. The accelerator is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology.

Fourth Edition of Regensburg Startup Guide
(No. 272) BioPark Regensburg GmbH has published after 2017, 2020 and 2022 its 4th edition of Regensburg startup guide. It offers orientation and an overview of the multitude of offers in the startup scene in Regensburg. In total 16 partner organizations have participated and offered proactive support for startups in the cathedral city.
