Hospital St. Elisabeth

The St. Elisabeth Strobing Hospital is in trusteeship of the Barmherzige Brüder gemeinnützige Träger GmbH and the City of Straubing. There are approximately 1500 employees, including approximately 250 doctors working in ten specialty areas and six specialty sections. As a level II care specialty hospital it fulfills regional tasks. At the hospital with 475 beds, approximately 25,000 inpatients and 53,000 outpatients are treated annually. It is a teaching hospital to the Technical University of Munich and in addition the vocational college for nursing is linked to the hospital.
